When your leadership doesn’t support your team like they should, you need to step up. Remember that leadership applies to each of us personally, so show strong character and lead.
Stepping up can be a variety of things from being the rock of support for your teammates, bitting your lip while strategizing to work around the gap, to accepting the loss and moving forward. Staying the course with a plan can lead to meaningful organization change. That where the support in the future can come from.
The temptation will be to react with anger and disbelief at the lack of good judgment. Rage will not solve problems, only make them. Highlight your interpersonal skills. Build your success, despite these small failures.
